Special Session:

Industrial Processes Revolution: Integrating Generative AI with Virtual and Augmented Reality

Overview

Scope: Integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) into industrial processes offers numerous benefits, ranging from the creation of highly realistic training environments to providing real-time guidance on complex processes, ultimately preventing errors and ensuring compliance. GAI supported VR can enhance collaboration among workers in different parts of the world by facilitating real-time interaction with shared digital objects. Furthermore, GAI and VR/AR can generate virtual prototypes, enabling engineers to visualize, test, and 3D print their designs before production. This accelerates the design process, reduces costs, and improves product quality. The workshop scope combines AI, VR, and AR to support predictive maintenance, operational optimization, and personalized employee training.
Aims: This workshop aims to bring together innovators, industry experts, and practitioners to showcase the latest industrial advances at the intersection of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR).

Topics of Interest

We invite original case studies, research papers,  and technical reviews on topics

Paper Submission

Prospective authors of papers are invited to submit a paper (typically 4-6 pages in standard IEEE two-column A4 format) via EDAS platform by suggesting the related special session: link. The paper should contain a complete description of the proposed contribution along with results, suitably framed in the related state of the art. Each paper will be reviewed in terms of relevance with respect to the scope of the event, originality and quality of the technical content, overall organization and writing style.

The IEEE Style Manual and Conference Paper templates in various formats are available through the following links: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
